Lately, I have been trying so hard to embrace the simplicity of life.

“Less is more” kind Of thing.

For this specific shoot, I went in with that mindset.

I really love how this family was willing to help me accomplish a specific style.

Capturing their love, touch and closeness was all that mattered to me.

During these times, it is so important to remember what we have.

It definitely hit me that I am so lucky to be a mom.

I am healthy and alive at age 30.

To have parents that love me unconditionally.

A sister who cares more than anyone I know.

For friends who support the person that I am.

A warm home and plenty of food for my family.

Some things we tend to take advantage of

and forget that a lot of people don’t actually have.

I am thankful for it all.

And for all of my clients who continue to help me grow as a photographer.

Every single session is another experience and the reason I love my career.

So with that being said, a HUGE shout out to everyone

Motherhood.

What a ride it has been.

A never ending roller coaster…

filled with ups, downs

highs, lows

Excitement.

Being so, so scared.

Filled with absolute joy and adventure.

No one really warns you of all of this.

You can read as many books to prepare yourself,

But the true knowledge comes from experience.

Every day I learn and feel something new.

I look at my boys and get tears in my eyes,

“how lucky am I?” I tell myself.

People ask, “how do you do it?”

The simplest response I have,

“Because they are my children and I love them.”

Is there any other reason?

They are my reason for everything!

Motherhood is tough.

Like every day struggles, tough.

No matter how hard days get,

it doesn’t affect how much I love them.

Just remember to be kind, talk a little softer.

More hugs.

I love you’s everyday.

Just be.

Trust the ride.

That is Motherhood to me.

The Hills

It has been awhile since my last post…

Recently I have been struggling with anxiety and depression. Which led me to not believe in myself or my work.

This couple truly helped me have some sort of breakthrough!

Once I arrived to the session, it was chilly and not much sunlight so I was a little uneasy.

But right away, I felt the pure joy and excitement from them before we started shooting.

When I got behind the camera and saw how natural and in love they were, I immediately felt that magic again.

Every time I put them in a new pose, the love was just bursting out and melting into each other.

While editing their gallery, I could not choose one single favorite. This is a series of beautiful images, because of their love for one another.

To the Hill Family:

Always remember these moments you shared when times get tough.

Babies are a gift from God but they also change your entire world.

Take a deep breathe, and go back to why you love that person.

Never let that go!

There is a reason for your marriage and now this beautiful baby on the way.

Hold on tight.

And everything will fall into place.

A Mother's Gift

A mother’s gift,

an endless love.

Just like the earth,

We provide food, shelter, warmth, life.

The more we put in, the more we get out.

When we love…

We are unstoppable.

Like flowers,

We are beautiful, unique, intriguing and strong.

We stand tall.

To show our children, our love never runs out.

Just like water,

It is endless.

Abundant.

Forever flowing.

Everlasting.

To all future parents,

Today, think about how your life will be once your little one arrives.

Most things will change.

The unknown may seem scary and also very exciting.

A lot of emotions running through your mind.

Once you see that baby, the world will seem like a brighter place.

Less will matter.

Your heart will be filled.

You will be tired and impatient during those long sleepless nights.

But most of all, you will feel so proud.

That you made this human, your human.

You will be so proud watching them grow.

Take in everything.

Pay less attention to things that are not important.

That don’t enhance your life together.

Love your human for all that they are.

Give the greatest life you possibly can.

In the end, thats all that matters.

And that is what they will always remember.

Not your flaws, but how much you did as a parent.

So don’t be so hard on yourself.

It is going to be okay.

Everything that comes your way, you will be able to handle.

It is all part of this parenting thing.

You figure it out along the way.

Just enjoy the ride and always remember, you got this.

I can tell you are going to be a chill and content little dude. Perfect for mommy and daddy, since they have their hands and hearts full. I love you so much baby.
